As Community Impact Manager at Casa Youth Shelter, Yvette leads community engagement efforts that strengthen awareness, support, and advocacy for youth and families in crisis. She develops and oversees the Youth Ambassador Program, cultivates relationships with donors, community partners, and stakeholders, and works collaboratively to expand access to the resources and opportunities that help young people achieve safety, stability, and hope. With more than 20 years of nonprofit leadership experience, Yvette has dedicated her career to empowering individuals and families to reach their fullest potential. Her background includes program operations, people development, community engagement, strategic partnerships, and donor relations. She is passionate about fostering a culture of compassion, inclusion, and accountability while building strong relationships with families, advocates, organizations, and supporters committed to creating lasting positive change.
In her role at Casa Youth Shelter, Yvette is focused on raising awareness of the organization’s vital programs and services, strengthening community partnerships, and increasing engagement that expands support for youth and families facing crisis, trauma, and instability. She is committed to ensuring that every young person and family served by Casa Youth Shelter has access to the care, resources, and encouragement needed to thrive.
Guided by her faith and a lifelong commitment to service, Yvette believes in leading with integrity, humility, and purpose. Outside of work, she is a proud wife, mother of two children who serve our country in the United States Navy and United States Air Force, and a devoted grandmother to Noah, who brings her endless joy.
