Parenting Classes in English and Spanish
The Parenting Classes are a 12-week psychoeducational program designed for parents of youth aged 12-17. Held weekly, these classes aim to provide parents with strategies for crisis prevention and intervention. Through group discussions, peer support, and educational topics such as healthy boundaries, effective communication skills, and conflict resolution, the Parenting Program empowers parents to develop and model effective skills to support their growing adolescents.

Session 6: Setting Age Appropriate Limits

Session 8: Family Roles, Boundaries, and Alliances
Session 9: Problem-Solving Strategies and Family Appreciation
Session 10: Drugs, Alcohol, and Defiance
Session 11: Single Parenting and Blended Families
Session 12: Your Role in Your Child’s Education
Las Clases Para Padres (en Español)
Classes are held virtually on Zoom, Tuesdays from 7:00pm-8:00pm. Participation in our shelter program is not required for participation. Parenting classes remain free of charge.

Las Clases Para Padres (en Español)
Teen Drop-In Group
For teens ages 12-17 and take place at Casa Youth Shelter. Classes will take place on Mondays 7:00-8:30pm. Teen Drop-In Group discussions are aligned with Parenting class topics.
