Casa Youth Shelter Purchases Sand Tray Therapy Equipment

Thanks to a generous recent donation, our clinical team was able to purchase Sand Tray Therapy equipment to use with our residents. Sand Tray Therapy is a form of expressive therapy in which the sand and miniatures are used as a method of communication. This process seeks to promote safety and control for the resident since emotionally charged issues are addressed through use of the sand tray. This is a great example of how our donors’ generosity helps us provide our residents with the tools for navigating through their challenges.
